Office hours are times I’ve set aside specifically for my students. During these hours, I am available to answer questions, address concerns, or just have a quick chat. Sometimes these hours are virtual, sometimes they are in person (depending on the course schedule).
I am also usually very responsive in Teams any weekdays before 5pm, unless I’m driving between campuses or in class. Just reach out there using the “Chat” function if you like, or in-person classes are welcome to drop by my office at the times and places listed below.

I do my best to answer all emails or requests in a timely manner. During business hours, I usually respond within an hour or two. Outside of business hours, however, I am more likely to respond at the beginning of the following work day. If you see me in the class Teams page, feel free to reach out to me there or to post your question in the "Ask Dr. Echols" channel (tag me to ensure that I see it). That way, your request—and my response—might also be useful to your classmates.
